This is a 1/24 scale unpainted assembly plastic model kit that reproduces the Toyota's Celica GT-Four ST165 which was a watershed moment in the history of the World Rally Championship.
For the first time in history, a turbocharged, all-wheel-drive Japanese car would contend for the driver's and constructor's rally titles. Making its debut in the 1988 Tour de Corse in France, the ST165 would go on to carry driver Carlos Sainz to the 1990 WRC driver's championship, cementing Toyota's status as a major player in the rally world.
This Celica GT-Four ST165 depicts the car as run to fourth place overall by Marc Duez and Klaus Wicha in the 1991 Tour de Corse rally. Resplendent in its Fina livery.
